Follow me into the world of oils.
Humans have been using essential oils to treat aches, injuries, prevention, healing for as long as humans have existed. Right up to modern man, today, when pharmacy came along and synthetic medicine got a monopoly on the pharmacies. Essential oils have been found in burial chambers in the pyramids of Egypt. The oils were just as fine when the tombs were opened as when they were buried with the king/queen.
Essential oils are virtually everlasting as long as they are stored properly, with the exception of citrus oils.
In the old days, essential oils and herbs were called natural medicine, today they are called alternative medicine. So what exactly is the "alternative" medicine?
Essential oils have always been used, it is also well stated in the Bible, it is written that "the three wise men" gave the baby Jesus frankincense and myrrh.

Yes, we're talking about essential oils; Incense is the essential oil we refer to today as -Frankinsen's - the oil of truth - the king of all oils.
Myrrh is another oil, which is used a lot in beauty products, against psoriasis and eczema.
There are oils that can soothe, prevent, improve, calm, soothe, uplift, invigorate, awaken, there are oils and oil blends for all purposes.
One of my favorites is the Oregano oil, nature's antibiotic, takes both viruses and bacteria. If I feel a slight hint of a cold, I take a capsule with a couple of drops of it together with olive oil. Then the onset cold disappears as quickly as it came. ABSOLUTELY amazing!
Another of my favorites is a mixture of lemon-lavender and peppermint, nature's own antihistamine. My husband has stopped getting an injection in his butt at the doctor in the spring after he started with this trio. It feels a little more right to use what nature offers, than to put your body full of synthetic things whic can give you side effects. Is it worth a try?
The oils I promote from doTerra are 100% pure, i.e. the oils are not added or diluted in any way. In one bottle, it is 100% filled with 100% pure oil. There are many competitors out there who mix their oils, this can be both dangerous for the consumer, but also a little unethical when it says that it is 100% pure oils. Which it is not as it is perhaps 10% of the bottle that consists of 100% pure oil. You Got It? You can't take those oils internally!
Individually, lemon, lavender and peppermint are completely unique with their own effects.
The lemon oil; comes from the lemon peel (not the pulp that many people are allergic to) smell it and you'll be in a good mood. It is cleansing both in the mind, liver and on surfaces. It can be used on stubborn stains, put a little lemon oil on the washcloth and the kitchen and bathroom will be clean. The best part is that it's completely natural without chemicals.
Lavender; can be used directly on burns and insect stings without it being diluted. It is anti-inflammatory. Good for insects. I mix lavender oil into a little chef oil and a neutral skin cream from doTerra and have got very soft skin. Coconut oil has a sun factor of about 6, with a little lavender in it you get at least up to about 10. Without endocrine disrupting chemicals - quite simply!
It is calming, and balances. Many people sleep very well with Lavender in a diffuser.
Peppermint; Has a cooling effect, so if you're going through menopause, peppermint is your best friend. Take a few drops in your hand and rub your neck, then the hot flashes will pass. The same goes for putting some peppermint in your water, you will be cooled. If you have a blocked nose/sinuses, take a drop of peppermint on your finger and put your finger up the palate and hold for 15 seconds. Then the top lid will come off, I promise you. I often get sore under my feet in the summer heat, then it helps to put a little peppermint in coconut oil and lubricate my feet.
If you have sun eczema, peppermint and lavender are a good mix.
